S E N A T E   R E S O L U T I O N

EXPRESSING SINCERE CONDOLENCES ON THE PASSING OF ANDREW J. REIS

     Introduced By: Senators Goodwin, Metts, Lombardi, Archambault, and Algiere

     WHEREAS, It is with great sadness that this Senate has learned of the passing of Andrew

J. Reis, a talented and renowned local singer and musical impresario; and

     WHEREAS, Mr. Reis, better known as "Drew" to his family and many friends, was the

cherished son of Frank Reis and Linda Ines, and the beloved brother of Teri, Kali, and Linsey

Reis, and Aaron Williams-Reis; and

     WHEREAS, In addition to his parents and siblings, Mr. Reis is survived by his nephews,

Aaron, Elijah, Carter, and his niece, Liana; and

     WHEREAS, Mr. Reis had a lifelong passion for music and had sung with several area

bands delighting audiences with his perfect harmonies, amazing duets, and pure talent; and

     WHEREAS, Drew Reis was a beautiful soul and his passing leaves a tremendous void in

the hearts of his beloved family and many friends, and he will be dearly missed; now, therefore

be it

     RESOLVED, That this Senate of the State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations

hereby joins the family and many friends and admirers of Andrew J. Reis in mourning his

untimely passing; and be it further

     RESOLVED, That the Secretary of State be and hereby is authorized and directed to

transmit duly certified copies of this resolution to Frank Reis and Linda Ines.
