It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows: | |
1 | SECTION 1. Section 28-14-18.4 of the General Laws in Chapter 28-14 entitled "Payment |
2 | of Wages" is hereby amended to read as follows: |
3 | 28-14-18.4. Extension of protection. |
4 | The protections set forth in § 28-14-18 and the relief and damages for violations set forth |
5 | in §§ 28-14-18.1 and 28-14-18.2 §§28-14-19.2, 28-14-19.3, and 28-41-35(f) and (g) shall also |
6 | apply to chapters 3, 6, 12, and 18 of this title, and to chapter 23 of title 5 and chapter 3 of title 25. |
7 | SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage. |

2 | to enforce their existing right to continuation of medical benefits, reinstatement after returning |
3 | from being a temporary caregiver and Sunday wage laws. |
