EXPRESSING CONDOLENCES ON THE PASSING OF NELSON W. BOUCHER, JR. | |

1 | WHEREAS, Nelson W. Boucher, Jr., passed away at home on March 12, 2017, after a |
2 | long and courageous fight with cancer. He was the loving husband of Carol Boucher for forty- |
3 | seven years; and |
4 | WHEREAS, Mr. Boucher was a hard-working family man, who had worked for many |
5 | years in the insurance and automotive collision industries, and had been employed by Notre |
6 | Dame Cemetery at the time of his passing; and |
7 | WHEREAS, In his free time, Mr. Boucher loved playing golf and spending time with his |
8 | golfing friends. He was a popular figure who made people laugh with his jokes, and garnered |
9 | much respect for his kindness and gentle demeanor both on and off the golf course; and |
10 | WHEREAS, Memories of Nelson Boucher and the life he lived will remain forever in the |
11 | hearts of his family and many friends; now, therefore be it |
12 | RESOLVED, That this Senate of the State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations |
13 | hereby expresses it condolences on the passing of Mr. Nelson W. Boucher; and be it further |
14 | RESOLVED, That the Secretary of State be and hereby is authorized and directed to |
15 | transmit a duly certified copy of this resolution to Mrs. Carol Boucher and Family. |
