EXPRESSING CONDOLENCES ON THE PASSING OF REINALDO PEREZ | |

1 | WHEREAS, Reinaldo Perez was born in Bello, Colombia, a son of the late Luis |
2 | Enrique Perez and Maria Cristina Munoz. He was the husband of Luz N. Perez; and |
3 | WHEREAS, Mr. Perez lived in Central Falls and Pawtucket since 1971. He was a hard- |
4 | working family man who was employed for many years as a weaver in area textile mills; and |
5 | WHEREAS, Mr. Perez was an active member of the Colombian American Association. |
6 | He managed and coached Sporting Colombia, a local soccer team, and was a passionate life-long |
7 | fan of the sport. He was also a communicant of the Holy Spirit Parish for many years; and |
8 | WHEREAS, Besides his wife, he leaves behind his children, Adriana Perez, Angela |
9 | Perez, and Michael Perez. He also leaves behind his siblings, Luis Alfredo Perez, Nellie Perez, |
10 | Judit Perez and Rosalba Perez, and nine grandchildren. He was the father of the late Ivan Perez; |
11 | now, therefore be it |
12 | RESOLVED, That this Senate of the State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations |
13 | hereby expresses its condolences on the passing of Reinaldo Perez; and be it further |
14 | RESOLVED, That the Secretary of State be and hereby is authorized and directed to |
15 | transmit a duly certified copy of this resolution to Luz N. Perez and Family. |
