S E N A T E   R E S O L U T I O N

EXPRESSING CONDOLENCES ON THE PASSING OF MARK G. CESANA

     WHEREAS, Mr. Mark G. Cesana of Smithfield, Rhode Island, loving husband of the late

Gerard R. Nadeau, passed away on May 25, 2017. He was born in Providence, Rhode Island, son

of the late George C. Cesana, Sr., and the late Wilma E. Cesana; and

     WHEREAS, Mr. Cesana was a talented and successful hairstylist for more than three

decades. He was a kind and caring man who was beloved by his family, many friends and

numerous clients. He will be sorely missed but will live on as an inspiration to all who knew him;

and

     WHEREAS, Mr. Cesana is survived by his brothers and their wives, John and Alice

Cesana, Anthony and Rachel Cesana, and George and Anna Cesana, Jr., and his sisters Patricia

Cesana and Rebecca Cesana. He also leaves behind sixteen nieces and nephews, and 17 great-

nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Ellen-Ora Richards and brother-in-law of

James Richards; now, therefore be it

     RESOLVED, That this Senate of the State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations

hereby expresses its condolences to the Cesana Family on the passing of Mark G. Cesana; and be

it further

     RESOLVED, That the Secretary of State be and hereby is authorized and directed to

transmit a duly certified copy of this resolution to John Cesana and Family.
