EXPRESSING CONDOLENCES ON THE PASSING OF GLORIA A. FISHPAW

     WHEREAS, It is with great sadness that this Senate has learned of the passing of Gloria

2

A. Fishpaw, beloved wife of the late Richard E. Fishpaw, cherished mother of Richard E.

3

Fishpaw, Steven M. Fishpaw, Susan M. Fishpaw, James A. Fishpaw, and Jon P. Fishpaw, and the

4

loving grandmother of nine beautiful grandchildren; and

5

     WHEREAS, Gloria Fishpaw was born in Barrington, Rhode Island, a daughter of the late

6

Saverio and Gilda Bochichio, and the sister of Marie Soteros, Antonette Thomas, and the late

7

Anthony Bochichio; and

8

     WHEREAS, For the past three years, Mrs. Fishpaw had made her home in East

9

Providence. She had previously resided in Burcyrus, Ohio, and was a graduate of the Marion

10

State Beauty Academy in Marion, Ohio; and

11

     WHEREAS, In addition to taking care of her family, Mrs. Fishpaw was an astute and

12

hard-working business women. She had been the owner and operator of His & Her Salon in

13

Burcyrus, Ohio, for twenty years, and until her retirement, had been employed as the Executive

14

Chef at R.S. Hanline & Company in Shelby, Ohio, for fifteen years; and

15

     WHEREAS, Gloria Fishpaw was a loving mother and grandmother, and a successful

16

business woman who left an indelible mark on the lives of those she knew and loved, and she will

17

be dearly missed; now, therefore be it

18

     RESOLVED, That this Senate of the State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations

19

hereby expresses our deepest sympathies on the passing of Gloria A. Fishpaw; and be it further

20

     RESOLVED, That the Secretary of State be and hereby is authorized and directed to

transmit duly certified copies of this resolution to Richard E. Fishpaw and Susan M. Fishpaw.
