S E N A T E   R E S O L U T I O N

EXPRESSING CONDOLENCES ON THE PASSING OF MARY BETH FLYNN

     Introduced By: Senators Lombardi, Sheehan, and Jabour

     WHEREAS, It is with great sadness that this Senate has learned of the passing of Mary

Beth Flynn, the loving mother of Adam Flynn, and a resident of the Town of Narragansett; and

     WHEREAS, Born on November 13, 1957, in the City of Providence, Mary Beth Flynn

was a daughter of the late William and Mary Hardman, and the sister of Patricia Lamarre,

Kathleen Reardon, the Honorable Robert Hardman, Jim Hardman, and the late William R.

Hardman; and

     WHEREAS, Active and hard-working, Mrs. Flynn was employed as a broker relations

specialist for Blue Cross/Blue Shield, and had been active in the community as a member of the

Narragansett Lions Club, who had recently held a beach party in her honor. She also delighted

local audiences singing with the Adeline La Plante Memorial Center's Chorus; and

     WHEREAS, In addition to spending her days with family and friends, Mrs. Flynn

enjoyed spending time on beautiful Narragansett Town Beach. She will forever be remembered

for her smile, her great sense of humor, and her buoyant outlook on life; now, therefore be it

     RESOLVED, That this Senate of the State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations

hereby expresses our deepest sympathies on the passing of Mary Beth Flynn; and be it further

     RESOLVED, That the Secretary of State be and hereby is authorized and directed to

transmit a duly certified copy of this resolution to Adam Flynn.
