EXPRESSING CONDOLENCES ON THE PASSING OF MARY BETH FLYNN | |

1 | WHEREAS, It is with great sadness that this Senate has learned of the passing of Mary |
2 | Beth Flynn, the loving mother of Adam Flynn, and a resident of the Town of Narragansett; and |
3 | WHEREAS, Born on November 13, 1957, in the City of Providence, Mary Beth Flynn |
4 | was a daughter of the late William and Mary Hardman, and the sister of Patricia Lamarre, |
5 | Kathleen Reardon, the Honorable Robert Hardman, Jim Hardman, and the late William R. |
6 | Hardman; and |
7 | WHEREAS, Active and hard-working, Mrs. Flynn was employed as a broker relations |
8 | specialist for Blue Cross/Blue Shield, and had been active in the community as a member of the |
9 | Narragansett Lions Club, who had recently held a beach party in her honor. She also delighted |
10 | local audiences singing with the Adeline La Plante Memorial Center's Chorus; and |
11 | WHEREAS, In addition to spending her days with family and friends, Mrs. Flynn |
12 | enjoyed spending time on beautiful Narragansett Town Beach. She will forever be remembered |
13 | for her smile, her great sense of humor, and her buoyant outlook on life; now, therefore be it |
14 | RESOLVED, That this Senate of the State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations |
15 | hereby expresses our deepest sympathies on the passing of Mary Beth Flynn; and be it further |
16 | RESOLVED, That the Secretary of State be and hereby is authorized and directed to |
17 | transmit a duly certified copy of this resolution to Adam Flynn. |
