EXPRESSING CONDOLENCES ON THE PASSING OF DAVID CONRAD ULRICH | |

1 | WHEREAS, It is with sadness that this House has learned of the passing of David Conrad |
2 | Ulrich, beloved husband of Annelise Stunzi Ulrich, the devoted father of Elise Ulrich, Lesley |
3 | Helterline and her husband, Wyatt, and Ali Ulrich, and the proud grandfather of Jaxon and Tess; |
4 | and |
5 | WHEREAS, Mr. Ulrich was born in New Haven, Connecticut, the devoted son of Anne |
6 | and the late George Ulrich, and beloved brother of Catherine Connorton, and Michael, George, |
7 | and Stephen Ulrich. He also leaves behind five nieces and nine nephews; and |
8 | WHEREAS, Mr. Ulrich was raised in Orange and had attended Amity High School. |
9 | Continuing his education, he had studied Art at The School of the Worcester Art Museum, and |
10 | took classes through the National Outdoor Leadership School; and |
11 | WHEREAS, A talented and creative artist, Mr. Ulrich had worked for almost 20 years as |
12 | the Art Director of Murphy Outdoor Advertising in Bridgeport, Connecticut, but his ingenuity |
13 | and creativity encompassed all the facets of his life; and |
14 | WHEREAS, Most recently, Mr. Ulrich had worked for The Spring House Hotel on Block |
15 | Island, restoring its signs and historic architecture. Throughout his life, he had spent many |
16 | enjoyable vacations with his family in New Shoreham, and the beautiful signs he designed and |
17 | restored over the years are exhibited throughout the island; and |
18 | WHEREAS, In addition to his family and friends, Mr. Ulrich enjoyed playing golf, |
19 | skiing, fishing, hiking, sailing, and woodworking of any kind. His humor was also one of his best |
20 | qualities. Whether telling a joke or simply relishing the joy of everyday life, he brought |

1 | happiness and delight to all who had the good fortune to be part of his life. He will always be |
2 | lovingly remembered and greatly missed; now, therefore be it |
3 | RESOLVED, That this House of Representatives of the State of Rhode Island and |
4 | Providence Plantations hereby extends its deepest condolences on the passing of David Conrad |
5 | Ulrich; and be it further |
6 | RESOLVED, That the Secretary of State be and hereby is authorized and directed to |
7 | transmit a duly certified copy of this resolution to Mrs. Annelise Stunzi Ulrich and Family. |
