It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows: | |
1 | SECTION 1. Chapter 23-17.20 of the General Laws entitled "Health Care Facilities |
2 | Staffing" is hereby amended by adding thereto the following section: |
3 | 23-17.20-8. Recognition of nurse licenses from military members and their spouses. |
4 | The department of health shall permit any member of the military or their spouse, with a |
5 | current nurse license from any other state within the United States, United States Territory or the |
6 | District of Columbia to practice nursing without a Rhode Island license. |
7 | SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage. |
