HONORING FRANCIS "FRANK" J. PERRY FOR TWENTY YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE

CITIZENS OF THE TOWN OF COVENTRY

     WHEREAS, For two decades, the fortunate citizens of the Town of Coventry have been

the beneficiaries of the wisdom and abiding dedication to excellence that Frank Perry has always

brought to his work as a member and Chairperson of the Coventry Board of Canvassers; and

     WHEREAS, Consistently demonstrating outstanding distinction in his leadership of the

Board, Mr. Perry served the people of Coventry from June of 1997 through March of 2017; and

     WHEREAS, Frank Perry will greatly be missed. He has earned the respect and gratitude

of the citizens of Coventry and he is eminently worthy of our recognition and praise; now,

therefore be it

     RESOLVED, That this House of Representatives of the State of Rhode Island and

Providence Plantations hereby honors and thanks Frank Perry for his more than twenty years of

exemplary service to the people of Coventry. We moreover wish him good health, fulfillment,

and some richly deserved leisure time; and be it further

     RESOLVED, That the Secretary of State be and hereby is authorized and directed to

transmit a duly certified copy of this resolution to Mr. Francis J. Perry.
