1	RESOLVED, That the special legislative commission created by resolution No. 383
2	passed by the House of Representatives at its January session, A.D. 2017, and approved
3	September 19, 2017, entitled "House Resolution Creating a Special Legislative Commission to
4	Study the Effects of Enacting a Line Item Veto, Potential Rhode Island Constitutional
5	Amendments for a Governor Runoff, and Requirements for the Election of the Governor" is
6	hereby authorized to continue its study and make a report to the General Assembly on or before
7	June 8, 2018, and said commission shall expire on June 15, 2018; and be it further
8	RESOLVED, That the time for reporting authorized by resolution No. 383 passed by the
9	House of Representatives at its January session, A.D. 2017, and approved September 19, 2017, be
10	and the same is hereby rescinded.

1	This resolution would extend the reporting and expiration dates of the special legislative
2	commission to study the effects of enacting a line item veto, potential Rhode Island
3	Constitutional amendments for a Governor runoff, and requirements for the election of the
4	Governor from April 5, 2018 to June 8, 2018, and said commission would expire on June 15,
5	2018.
