It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows: | |
1 | SECTION 1. Section 42-4-14 of the General Laws in Chapter 42-4 entitled "State |
2 | Emblems" is hereby amended to read as follows: |
3 | 42-4-14. State flagships. |
4 | The replica of the Continental sailing vessel known as "Providence" Class A Tall Ship, |
5 | commonly known as the "SSV Oliver Hazard Perry", is hereby designated as the official flagship |
6 | and tall ship ambassador of the state. |
7 | SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage. |
