1	RESOLVED, That the special legislative commission created by resolution No. 262
2	passed by the senate at its January session, A.D. 2017, and approved May 23, 2017, entitled
3	"Senate Resolution Creating A Special Legislative Commission To Conduct A Comprehensive
4	Review And Make Recommendations Regarding The Creation Of A World-Class Education
5	System In Rhode Island" is hereby authorized to continue its study and make a report to the
6	senate on or before November 1, 2018, and said commission shall expire on March 1, 2019; and
7	be it further
8	RESOLVED, That the time for reporting authorized by resolution No. 262 passed by the
9	senate at its January session, A.D. 2017, and approved May 23, 2017, be and the same is hereby
10	rescinded.

1	This resolution would extend the reporting and expiration dates of the special legislative
2	commission to conduct a comprehensive review and make recommendations regarding the
3	creation of a world-class education system in Rhode Island from March 1, 2018, to November 1,
4	2018, and said commission would expire on March 1, 2019.
