S E N A T E   R E S O L U T I O N

EXTENDING DEEPEST CONDOLENCES ON THE PASSING OF LUCILLE A. PINGITORE

     WHEREAS, It is with great sadness that this Senate has learned of the passing of Lucille

A. Pingitore, the devoted wife of fifty-eight years to Joseph Pingitore, Jr., the loving mother of

Joseph Pingitore III, Francine Pingitore and her husband, Brad Hutchison, and David Pingitore

and his wife, Lynn, and the cherished grandmother of six grandchildren, Joseph IV, Dylan,

Jonathan, Tayla, David, and Brad Jr.; and

     WHEREAS, Born in Providence, Mrs. Pingitore was the beloved daughter of the late

Santo and Frances Ruggieri, and the sister of the late Ronald Ruggieri; and

     WHEREAS, Mrs. Pingitore's loving personality created and nurtured a marriage that

flourished, and a home that was warm and welcoming. She doted on her family and was

passionate about preserving traditional family values including weekly family dinners; and

     WHEREAS, In addition to making a wonderful home for her family, Mrs. Pingitore had

been employed in Executive Management with AT&T and subsequently worked for twenty years

with Citizens Bank; and

     WHEREAS, Devoted to her faith, Mrs. Pingitore was a longtime parishioner and had

served as a Eucharistic Minister at St. Rocco Church; and

     WHEREAS, Always vivacious and stylishly attired, Lucille Pingitore was a true lady

who left an indelible mark on the lives of those she knew and loved, and she will be dearly

missed; now, therefore be it

     RESOLVED, That this Senate of the State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations

hereby expresses our deepest sympathies on the passing of Lucille A. Pingitore; and be it further

     RESOLVED, That the Secretary of State be and hereby is authorized and directed to

transmit a duly certified copy of this resolution to Joseph Pingitore, Jr. and Family.
