EXPRESSING PROFOUND SYMPATHY ON THE PASSING OF ETTA MANOCCHIO | |

1 | WHEREAS, It is with great sadness that this Senate has learned of the passing of Etta |
2 | Manocchio, loving wife of the late Andrew Manocchio, the devoted mother of Lia Nero, Nicholas |
3 | Manocchio, Louis Manocchio, and Andrea Edwards, and the caring mother-in-law of Alan Nero, |
4 | Claudia Tocco, Mary Manocchio and David Flavin; and |
5 | WHEREAS, Born in Providence, Mrs. Manocchio was a daughter of the late Francesco |
6 | and Raffaela Trabucco, and the sister of Amelia Tufano, George Trabucco, and the late Carmella |
7 | Cataldi, Vincent Trabucco, and her twin sister, Anna Trabucco; and |
8 | WHEREAS, Etta Manocchio created a home that was warm and welcoming. She |
9 | cherished her family and was the very proud and loving "Grammy" of Alana Hender and her |
10 | husband, Timothy, Lou-Jon Nero and his wife, Lindsay, Ethan Edwards and his wife, Erin, |
11 | Sydney Edwards, and Andrew and Elizabeth Manocchio, and was the beloved aunt to many |
12 | nieces and nephews; and |
13 | WHEREAS, Grammy doted on those around her, creating heart-warming memories of |
14 | "Grammy Soup", her famous baby-calming "bounce", playing games with the children, and |
15 | bountiful hugs and kisses. In her later years, she was blessed with great-grandchildren, Julia, |
16 | Brody and Cooper Hender, and Emory and Maizy Nero; and |
17 | WHEREAS, There is no doubt that Etta Manocchio, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, |
18 | great-grandmother, and wonderful friend, left an indelible mark on the lives of those she knew |
19 | and loved, and she will be dearly missed; now, therefore be it |
20 | RESOLVED, That this Senate of the State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations |

1 | hereby expresses our deepest sympathies on the passing of Etta Manocchio; and be it further |
2 | RESOLVED, That the Secretary of State be and hereby is authorized and directed to |
3 | transmit duly certified copies of this resolution to Lia Nero and Family, Nicholas Manocchio and |
4 | Family, Louis Manocchio and Family, and Andrea Edwards and Family. |
