RELATING TO GENERAL ASSEMBLY -- THE GOLD STAR FAMILY HIGHWAY | |

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows: | |
1 | SECTION 1. Chapter 22-7.4 of the General Laws entitled "Permanent Joint Committee |
2 | on Naming All New Buildings, Bridges, Edifices and Other State Constructions" is hereby |
3 | amended by adding thereto the following section: |
4 | 22-7.4-140. The Gold Star Family Highway. |
5 | The honorary name of the stretch of highway known as Chopmist Hill Road from Route |
6 | 44 in Chepachet to Route 6, the Hartford Pike (so called) in the town of Scituate, shall hereafter |
7 | be named and known as the "Gold Star Family Highway". |
8 | SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage. |
