1 | RESOLVED, That the special legislative commission created by resolution No. 128 |
2 | passed by the House of Representatives at its January session, A.D. 2018, and approved March |
3 | 20, 2018, entitled "House Resolution Creating a Special Legislative Commission To Study |
4 | Unlawful Sexual Harassment in the Workplace" and as extended by resolution No. 250 passed by |
5 | the House of Representatives at its January session, A.D. 2018, and approved May 16, 2018, is |
6 | hereby reinstated and the same members are hereby reappointed, and it is authorized to continue |
7 | its study and make a report to the House of Representatives on or before May 30, 2019, and said |
8 | commission shall expire on July 30, 2019; and be it further |
9 | RESOLVED, That the purpose of said special legislative commission is hereby amended |
10 | to be that said commission shall undergo a study of policies adopted by other legislative bodies |
11 | regarding investigatory practices pertaining to violations of the state Civil Rights Act of 1990 |
12 | (chapter 112 of title 42), the state Fair Employment Practices Act (chapter 5 of title 28), and Title |
13 | VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964; and be it further |
14 | RESOLVED, That the time for reporting authorized by resolution No. 128 passed by the |
15 | House of Representatives at its January session, A.D. 2018, and approved March 20, 2018, and as |
16 | extended by resolution No. 250 passed by the House of Representatives at its January session, |

2 | dates, and amend the purpose of the special legislative commission to study unlawful sexual |
3 | harassment in the workplace from May 29, 2018, to May 30, 2019, and said commission shall |
