RELATING TO HEALTH AND SAFETY - BEDDING AND UPHOLSTERED FURNITURE | |

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows: | |
1 | SECTION 1. Chapter 23-26 of the General Laws entitled "Bedding and Upholstered |
2 | Furniture" is hereby amended by adding thereto the following section: |
3 | 23-26-32. Therapeutic beds. |
4 | The department of health is hereby authorized and directed to establish on its website an |
5 | informational link to the regulations of the federal Food and Drug Administration relating to the |
6 | use of therapeutic beds, therapeutic cribs, and therapeutic bassinets, when these beds, cribs, and |
7 | bassinets are prescribed by a physician for use by a minor. |
8 | SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage. |
