It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows: | |
1 | SECTION 1. Title 10 of the General Laws entitled "COURTS AND CIVIL |
2 | PROCEDURE - PROCEDURE IN PARTICULAR ACTIONS" is hereby amended by adding |
3 | thereto the following chapter: |
4 | CHAPTER 21 |
5 | SELECTION POOL FOR COURT APPOINTED RECEIVERS |
6 | 10-21-1. Selection pool for court appointed receivers. |
7 | Regarding the appointment of any receiver, pursuant to the provisions of this chapter, the |
8 | selection pool for court appointed receivers shall be composed of at least ten percent (10%) of |
9 | receivers who are persons of color. |
10 | SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage. |
