It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows: | |
1 | SECTION 1. Section 23-65-9 of the General Laws in Chapter 23-65 entitled "Board of |
2 | Certification of Operators of Public Water Supply Facilities" is hereby amended to read as |
3 | follows: |
4 | 23-65-9. Fees. |
5 | A fee will be charged to each applicant submitting an application to the board, and shall |
6 | be of an amount determined by the board to cover the cost of the examination, but not more than |
7 | fifty dollars ($50.00), and shall be submitted with the application form. This fee shall be |
8 | refundable if the applicant is deemed by the board not qualified to take the examination but shall |
9 | otherwise be nonrefundable. A renewal fee shall be charged to each certificate holder at the time |
10 | of renewal. The board shall be responsible for setting this fee which will cover only the direct |
11 | cost of renewal certificate issuance. |
12 | SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage. |
