H O U S E   R E S O L U T I O N

CONGRATULATING NICOLE PALLOZZI ON BEING NAMED "MISS RHODE ISLAND

USA 2019"

     WHEREAS, Accomplished young women from across Rhode Island vied for the crown

in the annual 2019 Miss Rhode Island USA Pageant held in Providence on September 7th through

the 9th of 2018; and

     WHEREAS, Competing in three categories, interview, evening gown, and

swimwear/active wear, Providence's own homegrown beauty, 22 year old Nicole Pallozzi,

achieved her lifelong dream and took home the title of Miss Rhode Island USA 2019; and

     WHEREAS, Upon graduating from La Salle Academy, where she was on the Varsity

Competition Cheerleading and Varsity Track and Field Teams, and made Allstate for both sports,

Ms. Pallozzi continued her education earning a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration

from the University of Rhode Island. While attending URI, she maintained Dean's List and served

on the Executive Board of the Campus Tour Guides as its Public Relations Coordinator, and

traveled abroad to study in Italy for four months; and

     WHEREAS, In addition, Ms. Pallozzi has been a volunteer with numerous altruistic

organizations including Best Buddies and the Best Buddies Telethon, doing arts and crafts, and

playing games with the children at Meeting Street School, as well as being involved with the

Special Olympics; and

     WHEREAS, As the winner of Miss Rhode Island USA 2019, Ms. Pallozzi received a

$1000 to complete her wardrobe, a $250 Cash Award, an official crown and sash, a full year of

hair, makeup and skin care services, and a panoply of coaching and training opportunities, to

name just a few of the numerous awards; and

     WHEREAS, Currently, Ms. Pallozzi is a Project Coordinator working with many local

and global brands at Kantar Millward Brown, one of the world’s leading global marketing

research companies; and

     WHEREAS, Nicole Pallozzi is an outstanding young lady, who has already accumulated

a plethora of awards in her short lifetime and we are proud to congratulate and recognize her

dazzling record of accomplishments; now, therefore be it

     RESOLVED, That this House of Representatives of the State of Rhode Island and

Providence Plantations hereby congratulates Nicole Pallozzi on being named Miss Rhode Island

USA 2019. We wish her much happiness, good health, and continued success in all her future

endeavors; and be it further

     RESOLVED, That the Secretary of State be and hereby is authorized and directed to

transmit a duly certified copy of this resolution to Ms. Nicole Pallozzi.
