It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows: | |
1 | SECTION 1. Chapter 12-5 of the General Laws entitled "Search Warrants" is hereby |
2 | amended by adding thereto the following section: |
3 | 12-5-3.17. Complaint for issuance of search warrant -- Town of North Kingstown. |
4 | In addition to those persons specified in ยง 12-5-3(a), detectives, and any rank above, in |
5 | the town of North Kingstown police department, are hereby authorized to sign written |
6 | complaints, under oath, for the issuance of search warrants. |
7 | SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage. |
