RELATING TO CRIMINAL OFFENSES - FALSE PERSONATION | |

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows: | |
1 | SECTION 1. Section 11-14-2 of the General Laws in Chapter 11-14 entitled "False |
2 | Personation" is hereby amended to read as follows: |
3 | 11-14-2. Impersonation of town sealer, auctioneer, corder, or fence-viewer. |
4 | Impersonation of town sealer. |
5 | Every person who shall falsely assume or pretend to be a town sealer of weights and |
6 | measures, auctioneer, corder of wood, or fence-viewer, and shall act as such, shall be fined not |
7 | less than twenty dollars ($20.00) nor more than one hundred dollars ($100). |
8 | SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage. |
