RELATING TO WEIGHTS AND MEASURES - FIREWOOD AND CHARCOAL | |

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows: | |
1 | SECTION 1. Section 47-12-7 of the General Laws in Chapter 47-12 entitled "Firewood |
2 | and Charcoal" is hereby repealed. |
3 | 47-12-7. Sealing of charcoal baskets. |
4 | Every basket shall be sealed by the sealer of weights and measures of the town where the |
5 | person so using the basket shall usually reside, or of the town where the coal shall be so measured |
6 | for sale, and shall also be well heaped. |
7 | SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage. |
