RELATING TO ANIMALS AND ANIMAL HUSBANDRY - ANIMALS AT LARGE | |

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows: | |
1 | SECTION 1. Section 4-15-5 of the General Laws in Chapter 4-15 entitled "Animals at |
2 | Large" is hereby repealed. |
3 | 4-15-5. Animals in private ways in Newport. |
4 | Horses, neat-cattle, sheep, and hogs are deemed to be at large within the meaning of this |
5 | chapter within the limits of any private way in the city of Newport, without the consent of the |
6 | owners of the fee in that private way, and that private way, for the purpose of authorizing the |
7 | taking up and impounding of those animals, is deemed a common within the meaning of this |
8 | chapter. |
9 | SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage. |
