RELATING TO CRIMINAL OFFENSES - DUELING AND FIGHTING | |

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows: | |
1 | SECTION 1. Section 11-12-1 of the General Laws in Chapter 11-12 entitled "Dueling |
2 | and Fighting" is hereby repealed. |
3 | 11-12-1. Engaging in duel. |
4 | Every person who shall voluntarily engage in a duel with any dangerous weapon, to the |
5 | hazard of life, shall be imprisoned not exceeding seven (7) years nor less than one year. |
6 | SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage. |
