It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows: | |
1 | SECTION 1. Chapter 22-7.4 of the General Laws entitled "Permanent Joint Committee |
2 | on Naming All New Buildings, Bridges, Edifices and Other State Constructions" is hereby |
3 | amended by adding thereto the following section: |
4 | 22-7.4-140. The Gold Star Family Highway. |
5 | The stretch of route 102 known as Chopmist Hill Road, from Route 44 in Chepachet to |
6 | the southern boundary of the town of Glocester shall be assigned the honorary name "Gold Star |
7 | Family Highway." The honorary name "Gold Star Family Highway" shall be only identified by |
8 | signage installed on the above named stretch of highway. The existing official name and route |
9 | numbers in effect at the time of enactment of this section shall not be changed or affected in any |
10 | way by the honorary naming of this stretch of highway. |
11 | SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage. |
