EXTENDING DEEPEST CONDOLENCES ON THE PASSING OF LUCIA NORMA RICCI- | |

1 | WHEREAS, It is with utmost sadness that this Senate has learned of the passing of Lucia |
2 | Norma Ricci-Curcio, beloved wife of the late Amelio Ricci, and the former wife and constant |
3 | companion of Thomas Curcio. She was the cherished mother of Joseph Ricci, and his wife, |
4 | Diane, Sandra Petrarca and her husband, John, Jeannine Minutelli and her husband, the late |
5 | Joseph Minutelli, and the late Norman Ricci; and |
6 | WHEREAS, Born in Providence, Lucia was a daughter of the late Luigi and Adeline |
7 | Sergiacomi, and the sister of Louis Sergiacomi and the late Henry Sergiacomi; and |
8 | WHEREAS, Mrs. Ricci-Curcio had made a warm and welcoming home for her family |
9 | and particularly doted on her grandchildren Angel, Peter, Jina, Thomas, Jodi and Jacklyn, and the |
10 | late Norman Ricci, Jr., and her nine great-grandchildren. They kept her young-at-heart, and happy |
11 | and content with many adventures including snowmobiling and riding ATVS, and family |
12 | gatherings and birthday celebrations in her beautiful backyard; and |
13 | WHEREAS, In addition to her family and home, in 1965, Mrs. Ricci-Curcio co-founded |
14 | A. Ricci & Sons Construction together with her husband. She loved spending her winter months |
15 | in Florida, and traveling and driving just about anywhere; and |
16 | WHEREAS, Beautiful and vibrant, Lucia Norma Ricci-Curcio was blessed with a large |
17 | and loving family and many devoted friends. She will always be remembered with love and |
18 | dearly missed by all who shared her joyous life; now therefore be it |
19 | RESOLVED, That this Senate of the State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations |

1 | hereby extends deepest sympathy on the passing of Lucia Norma Ricci-Curcio; and be it further |
2 | RESOLVED, That the Secretary of State be and hereby is authorized and directed to |
3 | transmit a duly certified copies of this resolution to Joseph R. Ricci and Family, Sandra Petrarca |
4 | and Family, Jeannine Minutelli, and Mr. Thomas Curcio. |
