RELATING TO TOWNS AND CITIES -- PAYMENTS TO FIRE COMPANIES | |

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows: | |
1 | SECTION 1. Chapter 45-18 of the General Laws entitled "Payments To Fire Companies" |
2 | is hereby amended by adding thereto the following section: |
3 | 45-18-4. Payments to volunteer fire departments responding to emergencies along |
4 | Route 95. |
5 | Volunteer fire departments responding to emergencies on or along Route 95 in Rhode |
6 | Island shall be reimbursed from the Rhode Island general fund. |
7 | SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage. |
