It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows: | |
1 | SECTION 1. Chapter 39-19 of the General Laws entitled "Community Antenna |
2 | Television Systems" is hereby amended by adding thereto the following section: |
3 | 39-19-13.1. Payment for services -- Prohibited. |
4 | No subscriber to a cable television service shall be subject to any fees for the |
5 | replacement, reinstallation or reconnection of a defective or damaged cable box. Any such |
6 | replacement, reinstallation or reconnection shall be completed within forty-eight (48) hours of the |
7 | subscriber's request. |
8 | SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage. |
