It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows: | |
1 | SECTION 1. Chapter 5-19.1 of the General Laws entitled "Pharmacies" is hereby |
2 | amended by adding thereto the following section: |
3 | 5-19.1-36. Prohibition on sale of tobacco products. |
4 | No retail establishment that sells pharmaceutical goods and services to the public and is |
5 | subject to regulation by the board of pharmacy shall sell or authorize the sale of tobacco products, |
6 | as defined in ยง 11-9-13.4, within its buildings or facilities or on its grounds. |
7 | SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage. |
