J O I N T   R E S O L U T I O N

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION OF TWO HUNDRED FIFTY THOUSAND DOLLARS

($250,000) FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE BOYS AND GIRLS CLUBS OF AMERICA, RHODE

ISLAND

     RESOLVED, That a majority of all members elected to the House of Representatives of

the general assembly voting therefor, the following amendment to the budget be proposed:

     That there is hereby appropriated, out of any money in the treasury not otherwise

appropriated for the fiscal year 2020-2021, the sum of two hundred fifty thousand dollars

($250,000) for the Boys and Girls Clubs of America, for the benefit of those Boys and Girls

Clubs of America located in Rhode Island, for use in maintenance of their structures, the purchase

of items used by the members and for any other use determined by the board or governing body

of the clubs; and the state controller is hereby authorized and directed to draw his or her orders

upon the general treasurer for the payment of said sum, or so much thereof as may be from time

to time required, upon receipt by him/her of properly authenticated vouchers.
