H O U S E   R E S O L U T I O N

EXPRESSING DEEPEST CONDOLENCES ON THE PASSING OF ROBERT ANTHONY

QUATTROCCHI

     WHEREAS, It is with great sadness that this House has learned of the passing of Robert

Anthony Quattrocchi, the beloved husband of Assunta Quattrocchi, and the cherished "PaPa Q"

of our friend and colleague Robert (Edwina), Alli (Shana), Susan (Carmen), Carmela, Richard,

Maria (Tammy), and the late Peter Quattrocchi; and

     WHEREAS, A son of the late Alli and Mary Quattrocchi, and the brother of William,

Anthony, Jean Ribezzo, Marilyn McNeil and the late Richard and Alfred Quattrocchi, Mr.

Quattrocchi had been a longtime resident of the Town of Scituate, where according to him, "You

can't get there from here"; and

     WHEREAS, During the Korean War years, Mr. Quattrocchi served our country with

honor as a member of the United States Army Military Police 503rd Police Battalion in Fort

Bragg, North Carolina; and

     WHEREAS, Mr. Quattrocchi was a graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School and most

proudly, the Harley Davidson Motor Factory Academy in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. A certifiable

Harley Davidson genius, he had been employed at Quatro Harley Davidson Motorcycle Company

for forty years before his retirement, and in his free time, had traveled the country on his

motorcycle; and

     WHEREAS, In addition to his children, Mr. Quattrocchi's large, loving, and boisterous

family included his beautiful granddaughters Christine, Brianna and Sofia, and two great-

granddaughters, Suzy and Talia, and his loyal extended furry-family, Sonny, Sergio, Sophy,

Kozmo, Lady Angel, Samson, Baby, Moppy, Toby one eye, Lucy, Pepino, Pelu, Cardi, Fred,

Lola, Patrick, Giselle, Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, Cali, Stash and Peaches; and

     WHEREAS, Bob Quattrocchi was a memorable character who was bigger than life and

loved by all. He was always dependable, dedicated, and kind, but could also be a prankster and

practical joker. He was loving and sensitive, but was also known to be a bit grumpy on occasion.

He had often remarked in his later years that, “Christ doesn’t want me” but apparently heaven

needed his talents; now, therefore be it

     RESOLVED, That this House of Representative of the State of Rhode Island and

Providence Plantations hereby extends deepest condolences to the entire Quattrocchi Family on

the passing of Robert Anthony Quattrocchi; and be it further

     RESOLVED, That the Secretary of State be and hereby is authorized and directed to

transmit duly certified copies of this resolution to Assunta Quattrocchi and Family, and the

Honorable Robert Quattrocchi.
