     JOYOUSLY CELEBRATING THE 90TH BIRTHDAY OF GERARD ROBERT

PLAMONDON

     WHEREAS, Gerard Robert Plamondon, born on October 7, 1929, is a lifelong Rhode

Islander who has lived in both Central Falls and Pawtucket. He was married to the late Carol C.

Plamondon for many years and together they had five wonderful children, Susan, David, Sharon,

Lynn and Scott. He is also the proud grandfather of Brian, Scott, Allison and Kelly; and

     WHEREAS, Mr. Plamondon has been a hard-working man his entire life. He was a

highly skilled Union Carpenter who worked tirelessly to provide for his family. He also served

our nation with distinction as an active and reserve member of the United States Navy from 1954

to 1962; and

     WHEREAS, Mr. Plamondon enjoys visiting his beloved Island of Sint Maarten/Saint

Martin several times each year, and spending as much time as possible with his children,

grandchildren, and many friends; now, therefore be it

     RESOLVED, That this Senate of the State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations

hereby joyously celebrates the 90th Birthday of Gerard Robert Plamondon; and be it further

     RESOLVED, That the Secretary of State be and hereby is authorized and directed to

transmit a duly certified copy of this resolution to Mr. Gerard Robert Plamondon.
