EXPRESSING DEEPEST CONDOLENCES ON THE PASSING OF TALIA DELMONICO | |

1 | WHEREAS, It is with utmost sadness that this Senate has learned of the passing of Talia |
2 | Delmonico. She was the beloved daughter of Anthony Delmonico and Nicolette Matthews and |
3 | her husband, Bradford; and |
4 | WHEREAS, Ms. Delmonico was a graduate of Johnston Senior High School and the |
5 | University of Rhode Island. She was a science teacher at Shea High School who worked tirelessly |
6 | every day to make a positive impact in the lives of all the pupils she taught. She was an |
7 | innovative teacher who was passionate about the importance of science in the world and in the |
8 | daily lives of her students; and |
9 | WHEREAS, In addition to her parents, Ms. Delmonico leaves behind her brothers, |
10 | Anthony Delmonico and Marco Delmonico; and |
11 | WHEREAS, Talia Delmonico was a shining star who burned brightly and the memory of |
12 | the love and service she gave will live on forever in the lives of her family and many friends, and |
13 | she will be sorely missed by her students and colleagues at Shea High School; now, therefore be |
14 | it |
15 | RESOLVED, That this Senate of the State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations |
16 | hereby expresses its deepest condolences on the passing of Talia Delmonico; and be it further |

1 | RESOLVED, That the Secretary of State be and hereby is authorized and directed to |
2 | transmit duly certified copies of this resolution to Anthony Delmonico and Nicolette Matthews. |
