EXPRESSING SINCERE CONDOLENCES ON THE PASSING OF THEODORE A. SOLY | |

1 | WHEREAS, It is with utmost sadness that this Senate has learned of the passing of |
2 | Theodore A. Soly, beloved husband of the late Theresa Soly for thirty-three years, devoted father |
3 | of Donna Ferra and her husband, Brandon, and Anthony Soly, and his wife, Misty, and the very |
4 | proud grandfather of Cameron, Mina, Owen, Lily, Nathan, and the late Kaitlyn Ferra; and |
5 | WHEREAS, Mr. Soly, known as "Ted" by his family and many friends, was born in the |
6 | City of Central Falls, and later made his home in North Smithfield. He was the son of the late |
7 | Theodore and Alida Piche Soly; and |
8 | WHEREAS, Until his retirement in 2002, Mr. Soly had worked for the City of Pawtucket |
9 | as a supervisor in the Parks and Recreation Department, and for many years, as the Head Grounds |
10 | Keeper for McCoy Stadium; and |
11 | WHEREAS, Upon his retirement, Mr. Soly became a disc jockey for radio station |
12 | WOON in Woonsocket, retiring in 2015; and |
13 | WHEREAS, Theodore Soly was a hard-working family man who will be dearly missed |
14 | by all who had the good fortune to have shared his life; now, therefore be it |
15 | RESOLVED, That this Senate of the State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations |
16 | hereby expresses our deepest sympathies on the passing of Theodore A. Soly; and be it further |

2 | transmit duly certified copies of this resolution to Donna Ferra, and Anthony Soly. |
