	RELATING TO SOLEMNIZATION OF MARRIAGES

	It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:
1	SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any other general or special law to the contrary, The
2	Honorable Steven R. DeToy may join Marishka Trew DeToy and William Bradford Ames in
3	marriage within the Town of Westerly, Rhode Island, on or about August 22, 2020. The Honorable
4	Steven R. DeToy is hereby authorized and empowered to join the foregoing persons in marriage
5	pursuant to and in accordance with Chapter 3 of Title 15 of the General Laws, entitled
6	"Solemnization of Marriages."
7	SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
