H O U S E   R E S O L U T I O N

EXPRESSING DEEPEST CONDOLENCES ON THE PASSING OF ERNEST R. FRAPPIER

     WHEREAS, It is with utmost sadness that this House has learned of the passing of Ernest

R. Frappier, the devoted husband of Linda Frappier, the loving father of Brian Frappier and his

wife, Tammy-Jean, and Kevin Frappier, and the very proud grandfather of Logan Frappier; and

     WHEREAS, "Pete" as he was fondly called by family and friends, was born and had

made his home in the City of Woonsocket. He was the son of the late Fred and Aline Frappier,

and the brother of Robert Raymond, Lorraine Bourget, Aline Berube, Pauline Croteau, and the

late Fred Raymond, II; and

     WHEREAS, Mr. Frappier served our country with honor in the United States Army

during the Vietnam War; and

     WHEREAS, A hard-working man, Mr. Frappier was employed as an extruder operator

for Miller Electric and had also been a clerk for Stop & Shop until his retirement in 2010; and

     WHEREAS, Dedicated to his community, Mr. Frappier was a Legacy Member and

former State Commander of the VFW Post 6342. He was also a faithful parishioner of St.

Charles Borromeo Church, where he had served as a Eucharistic Minister and CCD teacher; and

     WHEREAS, Pete Frappier was a steadfast gentleman, whose kindness and dedication to

his church and community enriched the lives of all who knew him and he will be dearly missed;

now, therefore be it

     RESOLVED, RESOLVED, That this House of Representatives of the State of Rhode

Island hereby extends deepest condolences on the passing of Ernest R. Frappier; and be it further

     RESOLVED, That the Secretary of State be and hereby is authorized and directed to

transmit a duly certified copy of this resolution to Mrs. Linda Frappier and Family.
