1 | WHEREAS, It is with deep sadness that this House has learned of the passing of |
2 | Margaret Mancini, the beloved wife of the late Albert Mancini, Sr., for 65 years; and |
3 | WHEREAS, Mrs. Mancini was born in the North End neighborhood of Providence, the |
4 | daughter of the late John and Mary Farren. She was a devoted wife and mother who worked |
5 | tirelessly to provide for her family, and had worked as a military-grade precision solderer for the |
6 | former Ostby and Barton Company for thirty years until her retirement; and |
7 | WHEREAS, Mrs. Mancini leaves behind her surviving son, Lawrence Mancini and his |
8 | wife, Maria. She was the mother of the late Margaret Peters and the late Albert Mancini, Jr. She is |
9 | survived by her grandchildren, Kelley Lynn Peters and her partner, Dora Garcia, Richard Peters, |
10 | Jr., and his partner, Kelly Ramos, Tara Mancini and her husband, Aditya Chakrabati, Thomas |
11 | Albert Mancini and his partner, Amy Lombardo, John Marzullo, and Melissa Callen and her |
12 | husband, Craig, as well as her five great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Tiernan, Aubrey and Isabella |
13 | Peters, and Alexis and Adriana Callen. She is also survived by her son-in-law, Richard Peters, |
14 | Sr., her former daughter-in-law, Marilynn Adams, and many nieces and nephews; and; |
15 | WHEREAS, In her free time, Mrs. Mancini enjoyed reading, singing, laughing and, most |
16 | of all, spending time with her family and many friends. She was loved by all for her spirit of |
17 | generosity and her immense compassion for others, and for always being happy to offer a helping |
18 | hand to anyone in need, be it family and friends, neighbors or a stranger. She will be sorely |
19 | missed by all who knew her; now, therefore be it |

1 | RESOLVED, That this House of Representatives of the State of Rhode Island hereby |
2 | expresses its deepest condolences on the passing of Mrs. Margaret F. Mancini; and be it further |
3 | RESOLVED, That the Secretary of State be and hereby is authorized and directed to |
4 | transmit a duly certified copy of this resolution to Mr. Lawrence Mancini and Family. |
