It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows: | |
1 | SECTION 1. Chapter 46-23 of the General Laws entitled "Coastal Resources Management |
2 | Council" is hereby amended by adding thereto the following section: |
3 | 46-23-20.7. Staff attorney. |
4 | The executive director of the coastal resources management council shall have at least one |
5 | full-time attorney-at-law on staff. The attorney-at-law shall represent the executive director and |
6 | staff at council hearings and routine agency matters. The attorney representing the executive |
7 | director and staff shall not represent the council at hearings. |
8 | SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage. |
