EXTENDING DEEPEST CONDOLENCES ON THE PASSING OF BEVERLY A. POTTER

     WHEREAS, It is with sadness that this House has learned of the passing of Beverly A.

Potter, the loving mother of Richard Stone and his wife, Nancy, and our friend and colleague,

State Representative Brandon Potter; and

     WHEREAS, Born in the City of Providence, Beverly Potter was the daughter of the late

Fidanzo and Anne Gabriele, and the dear sister of the late David Gabriel, Gregory Webster, and

Donald Webster. She had made her home in the City of Cranston; and

     WHEREAS, Beverly Potter created a home that was warm and welcoming. She doted on

her family, particularly her cherished granddaughter, Dayna Stone; and

     WHEREAS, In addition to her family, Beverly had been employed as a registered nurse

for many years, a vocation that exemplified her caring and compassionate nature; and

     WHEREAS, Beverly Potter was the heart of her family and her life will forever be

indelibly imprinted in their cherished memories. She enriched the lives of all who had the good

fortune to have known her and she will be dearly missed; now, therefore be it

     RESOLVED, That this House of Representatives of the State of Rhode Island hereby

extends deepest condolences and sympathy on the passing of Beverly Potter; and be it further

     RESOLVED, That the Secretary of State be and hereby is authorized and directed to

transmit duly certified copies of this resolution to Richard Stone and Family and the Honorable

Brandon Potter.
