	AMENDING THE RULES OF THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES FOR THE YEARS OF
	2021 AND 2022

1	RESOLVED, That the rules for the House of Representatives adopted by the House of
2	Representatives at its January session A.D. 2021 entitled "House Resolution Adopting the Rules
3	of the House of Representatives for the years 2021 and 2022", be and the same is hereby
4	amended by adding thereto the following:
5	(12)(o) Any bill impacting veterans' affairs which also impacts subject matter that
6	requires a hearing or discussion by any other committee, shall be referred to the Committee on
7	Veterans' Affairs only after all other committee hearings are conducted or concluded. The
8	Committee on Veterans' Affairs shall then act as the final arbiter to review content and
9	recommendations by all other relevant committees.

1	This resolution would amend the House Rules to require that bills impacting veterans'
2	affairs as well as other subject matter only be referred to the Committee on Veterans' Affairs after
3	all other committee hearings are conducted.
