1	RESOLVED, That the special legislative commission created by resolution No. 401
2	passed by the House of Representatives at its January session, A.D. 2022, and passed by the
3	Senate at its January session, A.D. 2022, and effective on June 24, 2022, entitled "Joint
4	Resolution Creating a Special Legislative Commission to Study the Governance Structure Of
5	Rhode Island’s Public Education System” is hereby authorized to continue its study and make a
6	report to the House of Representatives and Senate on or before March 1, 2024, and said
7	commission shall expire on July 1, 2024; and be it further
8	RESOLVED, That the time for reporting authorized by resolution No. 401 passed by the
9	House of Representatives at its January session, A.D. 2022, and passed by the Senate at its
10	January session, A.D. 2022, and effective on June 24, 2022, be and the same is hereby rescinded.

1	This resolution would extend the reporting and expiration dates of the commission to
2	study the governance structure of Rhode Island’s public education system, from March 1, 2023,
3	to March 1, 2024, and would expire on July 1, 2024.
