It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows: | |
1 | SECTION 1. Chapter 31-23 of the General Laws entitled "Equipment and Accessories |
2 | Generally" is hereby amended by adding thereto the following section: |
3 | 31-23-12.1. Equipment and accessories generally. |
4 | The motor vehicle equipment belonging to the Providence Canteen with headquarters in |
5 | Providence, Rhode Island is declared to be an authorized emergency vehicle and may be equipped |
6 | with a siren, whistle or bell as provided in ยง 31-23-11. |
7 | SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage. |
