RELATING TO FOOD AND DRUGS -- THE RHODE ISLAND CANNABIS ACT | |

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows: | |
1 | SECTION 1. Chapter 21-28.11 of the General Laws entitled "The Rhode Island Cannabis |
2 | Act" is hereby amended by adding thereto the following section: |
3 | 21-28.11-33. Prohibition from outdoor advertising of cannabis sales. |
4 | No licensee under the provisions of this chapter or any other retailer in the business of |
5 | selling cannabis shall be allowed to advertise for the sale of cannabis within the state on any outside |
6 | forms of advertising, including, but not limited to, billboards, digital billboards, outdoor murals, |
7 | outdoor posters, bus shelters, bus posters, mobile billboards, or any other form of outdoor |
8 | advertising. |
9 | SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage. |
