RELATING TO STATE AFFAIRS AND GOVERNMENT - 2021 ACT ON CLIMATE | |

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows: | |
1 | SECTION 1. Chapter 42-6.2 of the General Laws entitled "2021 Act on Climate" is hereby |
2 | amended by adding thereto the following section: |
3 | 42-6.2-9.1. Renewable energy sources. |
4 | It is hereby established that the state shall mandate that all equipment and components that |
5 | are used for solar panel installations and wind power turbines be manufactured using renewable |
6 | energy sources and not from energy derived from fossil fuels. |
7 | SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage. |
