S E N A T E   R E S O L U T I O N

EXPRESSING DEEPEST CONDOLENCES ON THE PASSING OF STEPHEN MICHAEL

SIEMBAB

     WHEREAS, It is with deep sadness that this Senate has learned of the passing of Stephen

2

Michael Siembab of Warren, the beloved husband of Sandra Lee Siembab for the past 49 years;

3

and

4

     WHEREAS, Mr. Siembab was born in Fall River, the son of the late Joseph and

5

Genevieve Siembab. He served our nation with distinction and bravery as a pathfinder during the

6

Vietnam War in the United States Army, and was awarded the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star

7

Medal with “V” for his service to our nation; and

8

     WHEREAS, Mr. Siembab was an accomplished carpenter by trade, like his father, and

9

worked tirelessly to provide for his family. His incredible woodworking skills and the beautiful

10

furniture he made, were widely admired by his customers, peers, family and friends; and

11

     WHEREAS, In his free time, Mr. Siembab enjoyed many outdoors activities including

12

boating, fishing and crabbing. He also admired antique cars and especially his much loved 1948

13

Ford. Most of all, he was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather; and

14

     WHEREAS, In addition to his wife, Sandra Lee, Mr. Siembab leaves behind his children,

15

Sean Siembab and his wife, Melissa, and Christopher Siembab and his wife, Allendre, and his

16

grandchildren, Jaden, Gavin, Brody, Landon, and Eli. He is also survived by his siblings, Thomas

17

Siembab, Frederick Siembab, and Francis “Frank” Siembab, and was the brother of the late

18

Joseph Siembab, Jr.; now, therefore be it

19

     RESOLVED, That this Senate of the State of Rhode Island hereby expresses its deepest

condolences to the Siembab Family on the passing of Stephen Michael Siembab; and be it further

2

     RESOLVED, That the Secretary of State be and hereby is authorized and directed to

3

transmit duly certified copies of this resolution to Sandra Lee Siembab and Family.
