It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows: | |
1 | SECTION 1. Section 11-47-60.3 of the General Laws in Chapter 11-47 entitled "Weapons" |
2 | is hereby amended to read as follows: |
3 | 11-47-60.3. Trigger lock required. |
4 | No licensed retail dealer shall deliver any pistol, rifle or shotgun to any purchaser without |
5 | providing a trigger lock or other safety device designed to prevent an unauthorized user from |
6 | operating the pistol firearm. |
7 | SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage. |
