S E N A T E   R E S O L U T I O N

EXTENDING DEEPEST CONDOLENCES ON THE PASSING OF DIANE P. ROSE

     WHEREAS, It is with sadness that this Senate has learned of the passing of Diane P.

Rose, the wife of the Honorable Henry Rose, a former member of the Rhode Island House of

Representatives, and a resident at the Hattie Ide Chaffee Home in East Providence at the time of

her passing; and

     WHEREAS, Mrs. Rose was born in Attleboro, Massachusetts. She was a daughter of late

Henry and Cecile Allard, and the sister of Colleen Peach, Tresa Ball, and Tina Allard; and

     WHEREAS, A devoted mother, Mrs. Rose leaves her children, Sherry Rose-Harritos and

her husband, Vasilios, and Henry Rose and his wife, Jacqueline. She was also the very loving

grandmother of three grandchildren, Nicholas, Henry, and Victoria; and

     WHEREAS, In addition to her family, Mrs. Rose loved to dance and was a passionate

advocate and devoted supporter of all animals; and

     WHEREAS, Diane Rose loved her family and was a wonderful friend to many and she

will be dearly missed; now, therefore be it

     RESOLVED, That this Senate of the State of Rhode Island hereby extends deepest

condolences to the family and friends of Diane P. Rose; and be it further

     RESOLVED, That the Secretary of State be and hereby is authorized and directed to

transmit a duly certified copy of this resolution to the Honorable Henry Rose and Family.
