It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows: | |
1 | SECTION 1. Chapter 22-7.4 of the General Laws entitled “Permanent Joint Committee on |
2 | Naming All New Building, Bridges, Edifices and other State Constructions” is hereby amended by |
3 | adding the following sections: |
4 | 22-7.4-149. Sgt. William G. Fournier Medal of Honor Bridge. |
5 | Bridge number 00201, located on US route 1A, Main Street, in the village of Wakefield |
6 | and which spans over the Saugatucket River in the town of South Kingstown, shall hereafter be |
7 | named the Sgt. William G. Fournier Medal of Honor Bridge. |
8 | 22-7.4-150. Sgt. William J. Babcock Medal of Honor Bridge. |
9 | Bridge number 17801, located on RI route 108, Kingstown Road, which spans the |
10 | Saugatucket River in the town of South Kingstown, shall hereafter be named the Sgt. William J. |
11 | Babcock Medal of Honor Bridge. |
12 | 22-7.4-151. Cpl. David B. Champagne Medal of Honor Bridge. |
13 | Bridge number 17601, located on RI route 108, Kingstown Road, which spans over the |
14 | Run River in the town of South Kingstown, shall hereafter be named the Cpl. David B. Champagne |
15 | Medal of Honor Bridge. |

4 | Babcock Medal of Honor Bridge; and, bridge 17601 would be named the Cpl. David B. Champagne |
5 | Medal of Honor Bridge. |
